Paid Ads Executive

What this role is about

You’ll be creating and running paid ad campaigns that stop the scroll — ads that land because the angle is fresh, the story pulls people in, and the hook makes them curious enough to click.

This role is for someone who loves testing ideas, exploring what works, and finding patterns in the data that tell you what to try next. You’ll be writing ad copy that feels alive, designing campaigns around unexpected angles, and iterating fast based on what the numbers are showing you.

You’ll work across Google Ads, Meta, and other paid channels — but the core of the work is creative generation and strategic testing.

What you’ll be doing

Creative Development & Copywriting

Write ad copy that hooks attention — headlines, body copy, CTAs — across Google Ads, Meta, and other paid channels

Develop narrative-driven campaigns that tell a story, not just sell a feature

Test unexpected angles, fresh messaging, and ideas that haven’t been done before

Collaborate with the design team to shape visual concepts that amplify the copy

Campaign Strategy & Testing

Spot patterns in campaign data — what’s working, what’s dying, and what’s worth pushing further

Design and run A/B tests on messaging, audiences, creative formats, and offers

Adjust strategy based on performance — iterate fast, kill what’s not working, double down on what is

Explore new platforms, ad formats, and approaches that could give clients an edge

Campaign Execution & Optimization

Set up and manage paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and other platforms

Monitor performance daily — budgets, bids, delivery, conversion rates

Optimize campaigns to hit lead and conversion goals while staying within budget

Ensure campaigns are technically sound and running cleanly

Collaboration & Innovation

Work with the creative team to develop concepts that with client goals

Bring new ideas to the table — angles we haven’t tried, formats we should test, opportunities we’re missing

Stay ahead of trends in paid ads, creative formats, and platform changes

What energizes someone in this role

This work pulls on three core energy patterns:

Originality — coming up with fresh angles, unexpected hooks, ideas that make ads stand out

Influence — writing copy that moves people from scroll to click, shaping how they think and what they do next

Pattern-matching — reading the data, spotting what’s working, and adjusting strategy based on what you’re seeing

If you love fiction, storytelling, and exploring ideas — and you also love digging into numbers to see what’s actually working — this role will energize you.

What we’re looking for

Someone who writes copy that feels alive — not templated, not corporate, not like everyone else’s ads

A natural storyteller who can take a product or offer and find the angle that makes people care

Comfortable with data — you don’t need to be a spreadsheet wizard, but you need to read performance metrics and know what to do with them

Curious and experimental — you want to test things, try new approaches, and learn what works

Execution-focused when it matters — campaigns need to run cleanly, hit deadlines, and perform

Is fluent and professionally capable in English, both spoken and written.

KPIs — what success looks like

1. Creative Output: Minimum 3 new ad concepts tested per client per month (copy + angle variations)

2. Campaign Performance: Accounts meet or exceed lead/conversion goals 80%+ of the time

3. Test Velocity: At least 2 A/B tests running per active account at any given time

4. Innovation: One new strategy, platform, or creative format tested per quarter

5. Copy Quality: Ad copy is clear, compelling, and error-free — no client revisions required due to unclear messaging

What you’ll need

Experience writing ad copy for paid channels (Google Ads, Meta, or similar)

Comfortable setting up and managing paid campaigns

Ability to read performance data and adjust strategy accordingly

A portfolio or examples of ad copy you’ve written (even if it’s personal projects or spec work)

Passion for storytelling, narrative structure, and creative exploration
