Generating 267 Cloud Kitchen Leads While Cutting Meta Ad Spend by 50%

Generating 267 Cloud Kitchen Leads While Cutting Meta Ad Spend by 50%

Client Overview

Red Rose Hub Cloud Kitchen is a purpose-built cloud kitchen facility in Dubai with just 22 kitchen units available.

Unlike many cloud kitchens located deeper inside industrial areas such as Al Quoz or Dubai Investment Park, Red Rose Hub Cloud Kitchen has an important advantage: location.

The facility is located near Dubai Bowling Centre, giving food brands fast access to key residential and commercial areas across Dubai.

This matters because cloud kitchen revenue is heavily dependent on delivery radius.

A kitchen serving mainly commercial areas may perform strongly during lunch but see demand drop in the evening. A location focused primarily on residential communities can face the opposite problem.

Red Rose Hub Cloud Kitchen offered operators the opportunity to reach both office and residential customers from one kitchen, creating the potential to generate orders across lunch and dinner rather than relying heavily on one daypart.

But with only 22 kitchens available, the objective wasn’t to generate hundreds of generic enquiries.

Red Rose Hub Cloud Kitchen needed the right operators.

Objective

Red Rose Hub Cloud Kitchen was particularly interested in established cloud kitchen and food delivery operators who:

  • Already had an active food brand
  • Were already selling through platforms such as Talabat and Deliveroo
  • Had an existing customer base
  • Wanted to expand into another part of Dubai
  • Were looking for a stronger delivery location
  • Had sufficient order volume to justify taking another kitchen

The goal was therefore to generate enough demand to give Red Rose Hub Cloud Kitchen a strong pool of potential tenants for its 22 available kitchen spaces.

Our Approach

Above Digital created a Meta Ads lead generation campaign around the location and expansion opportunity.

The campaign directed prospects to a dedicated landing page rather than a basic lead form.

The landing page explained the location advantage, facility, operational support and available kitchen units before asking the prospect to enquire.

More importantly, the enquiry form was designed to help Red Rose Hub Cloud Kitchen identify serious operators.

Instead of collecting only a name and phone number, we asked prospects about:

  • Their business name
  • Website or social media presence
  • Business profile
  • Cuisine
  • Kitchen requirements
  • Preferred kitchen size
  • Delivery platforms currently being used
  • Estimated daily order volumes

Prospects could identify whether they were already operating through Talabat, Deliveroo, Careem, Noon Food or their own ordering platform.

This meant Red Rose Hub Cloud Kitchen could quickly distinguish between someone exploring an idea and an established operator looking for another location.

Month One: Building the Lead Pipeline

The campaign initially launched at approximately AED 200 per day, or around AED 6,000 per month.

During the first month, the campaign generated 160 leads.

Approximate cost per lead AED 37.50.

The volume gave Red Rose a substantial pipeline relative to the number of kitchens it actually had available.

Month Two: Reducing Spend Because There Were Enough Leads

This is where the campaign became particularly interesting.

The client didn’t need unlimited lead volume.

There were only 22 kitchen units available, and Red Rose already had a large number of prospects to contact and qualify.

Rather than continuing to spend AED 200 per day simply to increase the number of leads, the campaign budget was reduced to approximately AED 100 per day.

Despite cutting the advertising budget by around 50%, the campaign still generated 107 leads in month two.

Estimated cost per lead fell to approximately AED 28.

That represented an improvement of approximately 25% in cost per lead.

The Results

Across the first two months, the campaign generated 267 leads from an approximate advertising investment of AED 9,000.

The more important result, however, was not the headline lead number.

Red Rose Hub Cloud Kitchen had only 22 kitchen spaces to fill.

The campaign generated a large enough pool of prospective operators that the client eventually paused advertising because they already had leads to work through.

That is an important distinction.

Successful lead generation isn’t always about generating more leads every month.

Sometimes the right outcome is reaching the point where the client’s operational capacity, sales team or available inventory becomes the constraint rather than marketing.

For Red Rose Hub Cloud Kitchen, the campaign created enough demand that continuing to generate leads at the same rate was no longer necessary.
